Pro Junior

In the tradition of early Fender amps such as the Champ®, Princeton® and Harvard, the Pro Junior is a small, pure and uncomplicated all-tube amp. Crank it up for natural tube overdrive, and vary its response with your guitar’s controls.

Although quite compact, the 15-watt, single-channel Pro Junior delivers big tone for studio and rehearsal work, and many players over the years have grabbed a pair of them for stage use. In tandem, they provide an easy way to warm up stereo multi-effects boxes, too. Two EL-84 Groove Tube output tubes and a pair of 12 AX7 preamp tubes push that one-and-only sound through a single 10” 8-ohm Fender Special Design Eminence speaker. The look is pure Fender—chrome panel with vintage pointer knobs, plus black textured vinyl covering and silver grille cloth.

Pro Junior 60th Anniversary Woody

A luxuriously appointed version of our beloved Pro Junior, created to celebrate Fender’s 60th anniversary and in production in 2006 only!

The “plug-and-play” Woody’s solid wood construction, 15-watt all-tube Pro Junior chassis and upgraded 10” Jensen® speaker combine to produce great sound from a small package. Its smart cosmetic appointments hearken back to 1946-era Fender amps, with a semi-transparent Honey Blonde gloss finish over solid ash, red vintage grille cloth with three chrome grill strips, solid ash handle, commemorative badge and deluxe vintage slip cover. It’s the perfect addition to the discriminating guitarist’s office or living room; some players go for cool matched sets by pairing the Woody with one of our Honey Blonde finished guitars, such as the Deluxe Nashville Telecaster®, Deluxe Nashville Power Telecaster, or Deluxe Power Stratocaster®.
