'59 Bassman LTD

The ’50s Fender Bassman was the pro bassist’s answer to amplifying a great new invention: the Fender Precision Bass® guitar. This powerful 50-watt rig could easily compete with the common instrumentation of the day: horns, piano, four-piece drum kit with calfskin heads, and maybe even an electric guitar through a nice, new 10-watt amp! By the ’60s and ’70s, the original all-tube “Tweed” 4x10 Bassman was popular with rock, country and blues guitarists as a reliably great-sounding and easy-to-use guitar amp. Even some emerging British amp designers of the day copied its circuitry for use in their most celebrated designs.

In the 1990s, Fender released an affordable reissue of the now-collectible ’59 Bassman amplifier to massive acclaim. Many guitarists, tired of experimenting with preamps, equalizers, and effects racks, rediscovered the simple pleasure of plugging into a Fender tube amp. The Bassman’s wide stage coverage, touch-sensitive dynamics and full-frequency “swirl” make it the perfect vehicle for building a great tone with almost any guitar or effect. The reissue Bassman continues to be a staple of the Fender guitar amp line to this day.

The new ’59 Bassman LTD is enhanced with:
• Genuine lacquered Tweed covering.
• Finger-joined pine cabinet for woody, resonant tone.
• Original spec 5AR4 rectifier tube for natural compression when playing hard.
• Internal bias pot makes it easier to experiment with various output tubes.
• Two GT-6L6 Groove Tube™ output tubes.
• Three improved 12AX7 preamp tubes.
• Fitted cover.

'63 Fender Reverb

Our legendary all-tube Fender Reverb unit has been a staple of virtually every surf performance and recording since the early ’60s. Blues and experimental players love it too! Add it on to any amp.

Features include one 6V6 Groove Tube™, one 12AX7 preamp tube, one 12AT7 tube, on-off footswitch, brown textured vinyl covering with wheat grille cloth, and controls for dwell, mix and tone.

'65 Deluxe Reverb

The 22-watt (at 8 ohms) ’65 Deluxe Reverb amp is for rock, country or blues players who want a moderately powered amp they can crank up on the gig or in the studio. The fat, snappy guitar tones heard on many of our favorite recordings, from Memphis to Abbey Road, were made using the Deluxe amp.

Features include a pair of 6V6 Groove Tube™ output tubes, one 5AR4 rectifier tube, four 12AX7 preamp tubes, two 12AT7 tubes, one 12” 8-ohm Jensen® C-12K speaker, dual channels (normal and vibrato), tube-driven Fender reverb, tube vibrato, two-button footswitch for reverb and vibrato on-off, black textured vinyl covering and silver grille cloth.

'65 Super Reverb

This faithful recreation of the legendary Blackface™ Super from the 1963-1968 era is a must-have for vintage enthusiasts and Strat® guitar slingers, but players of all styles enjoy its shimmering tone. The 45-watt (at 2 ohms) Super Reverb amp’s medium output and stage-filling sound makes it the perfect amp to crank up for unmiked club gigs or on a concert stage.

Features include a pair of 6V6 Groove Tube™ output tubes, one 5AR4 rectifier tube, four 12AX7 preamp tubes, two 12AT7 tubes, four 10” 8-ohm Jensen® P10R speakers with alnico magnets, dual channels (normal and vibrato), tube-driven Fender reverb, tube vibrato, two-button footswitch for reverb and vibrato on-off, black textured vinyl covering with silver grille cloth, and tilt-back legs.

'65 Twin Custom 15

The new ’65 Twin Reverb Custom 15 is a welcome addition to our venerable Vintage Series amplifier line.

This all-tube combo amp couples an 85-watt ’65 Twin Reverb Reissue chassis with an enlarged cabinet and single 15” speaker instead of the usual pair of 12s. The Twin’s vibrato, reverb and crystal clean tones are great as always, and the 15’s extra-fat clear bottom end, smooth treble and high power handling make are a godsend.

In partnership with Eminence, we created an updated speaker based on the now-collectible JBL® D130F model used by Fender in the 1960s and ’70s. This driver’s cast frame, shallow cone, high flux density, large voice coil and aluminum center cap delivers clean, precision performance for steel, jazz and country players (among others!). The speaker’s 3D bass and treble separation will amaze you!

Other features include a metal badge on the grille, two-button reverb/vibrato footswitch, removable casters, nickel hardware, heavy-duty textured black vinyl covering with silver grille cloth, and an embroidered cover.

This amp has seen action in every imaginable musical venue and continues its musical legacy today! Whether you play rock, jazz, country, or whatever, this is what a clean electric guitar sounds like! Or add an upside-down Stratocaster® guitar and a fuzz box ...

Our 85-watt (at 4 ohms) Vintage Reissue of the ’65 Twin Reverb features four 6L6 Groove Tube™ output tunes, four 12AX7 preamp tubes, two 12AT7 preamp tubes, two 12” 8-ohm Jensen® C-12K speakers, dual channels (normal and vibrato), Fender reverb, vibrato, two-button reverb and vibrato on-off footswitch, tilt-back legs, black textured vinyl covering and silver grille cloth.
