Vox T-60 Bass Amplifier

This 60-Watt, 1 x 12" (with horn) combo not only boasts our trademark diamond grille cloth and ‘chicken head’ knobs, it also features the original vertical VOX logo! The vibe is unmistakably vintage VOX.

BassilatorTM For a Fat Low End
The switchable Bassilator circuit that has proved so popular on the T-25 is also featured on the T-60. By generating ultra-low-frequency harmonics, the Bassilator creates a fat, rich low-end punch that cannot be duplicated with even the most sophisticated EQ.

You Control The Tone
The T-60 is armed with no fewer than four active tone controls – Treble, High-Mid, Low-Mid & Bass. As a result an incredibly wide range of tones can be created. To make sure that the T-60’s top end is every bit as punchy as the impressive lows and mids the custom voiced 12" speaker kicks out, we’ve also loaded it with a HF (high frequency) tweeter horn.

Top Panel Features

  1. Input Jacks. This, believe it or not, is where you plug your bass into the amp! There are two (2) input jacks to choose from: Passive and Active...
PASSIVE: This input is most commonly used for bass guitars with non-active pickups, (i.e. no on-board preamp)
ACTIVE: This input is most commonly used for bass guitars that have active pick- ups with an on-board preamp or battery.
  2. Volume Control. Controls the overall volume.
  3. Treble Control. Cuts or Boosts.the high frequencies. Moving the knob clockwise from the zero center position boosts, moving it counter-clockwise cuts the high frequencies.
  4. High Mid Control. Cuts or Boosts the upper middle frequencies in your tone. A higher setting will increase the presence of your sound without being too harsh.
  5. Low Mid Control. Cuts or Boosts the lower middle frequencies in your tone. A low setting will give a rich deep tone while a higher setting gives the upper notes of your bass a more penetrating sound.
  6. Bass Control. Cuts or Boosts the bass frequencies in your tone. Moving the knob clockwise from the zero center position boosts, moving it counter-clockwise cuts the bass frequencies.
  7. Bassilator ON/OFF Switch. Unique bass booster for a deep enhanced bass sound. When this switch is set to the "ON" position, the low end is emphasized and sub-bass harmonics are added to create a rich, punchy bass tone.
  8. Headphone Jack. The headphone mutes the built-in speaker and lets the Bassist play "silently" at any time.
  9. Extension Speaker Jack . This is where you connect a 4-ohm extension speaker cabinet. The internal speaker is disconnected when an external speaker is in use.
  10. Power ON/OFF Switch & LED. On/Off switch for mains (AC) power to amplifier. Plus power indicator LED.

EFFECT SEND and RETURN Jacks

This is where you can connect your favourite effects processor (eg ToneWorks AX1B) to the T-60's Series Effect Loop. The "SEND" jack is the preamp "out" of the T-60 which is connected to the "IN" on your effects and the "RETURN" jack is a power amp "in" which should be connected to the "OUT" jack of your effects unit.
