The Heritage Blues Deluxe and Blues Deluxe Plus are my all time favorite Heritage Guitars!!!

IMPORTANT

Some dealers are telling people that the "Blues Deluxe" is the same as the Prospect. If a dealer tells you that he is lying to you.

The Prospect model is constructed entirely differently. The "Prospect" employs a floating center block.  The "Blues Deluxe" uses a solid center block.  One knowledgeable customer pointed that out to a certain dealer in Indiana. The dealer told him to stuff the guitar with styrofoam and he could achieve the same stability as a "Blues Deluxe."

Even if that were true I wouldn't want to stuff my guitar with styrofoam.  That would entirely defeat the purpose of buying a "Prospect."

I carry both the "Prospect" and the "Blues Deluxe" Each guitar has it's advantages,  The "Prospect" is better suited to playing in your bedroom without an amp where the "Blues Deluxe" is more of a professional  all around stage guitar.  The "Prospect" will be slightly louder when played without an amp but it will tend to feed back a lot quicker than a "Blues Deluxe".  The "Prospect" will definitely not sustain like a "Blues Deluxe."

Blues Deluxe
Natural Blonde, Upgraded Flame Top, Sides & Back
Bigsby Tremolo,  Buzz Feiten Tuning, VIP Coil Tap System, Custom Wooden Pickguard
Real Mother of Pearl Block Inlays, Brazilian Rosewood Fingerboard
Seymour Duncan Pickups, Brazilian Rosewood Fretboard
Grover Imperial Tuners, Mahogany Neck

The structural design is somewhat similar to a Gibson 335. The guitar is a little smaller and a little thinner. It's much lighter and easier to play and hold. And most importantly it sounds and plays better, guaranteed or your money back.

The one pictured above has many custom options on it. Bigsby, VIP System, Block Inlays, Tune o matic Bridge, Natural Finish and Select Wood upgrade.

The "Blues Deluxe" is probably the most versatile guitar that Heritage makes.  I was personally involved in the design of the guitar and I am quite proud of that fact.  Make Sure it's a "Blues Deluxe" and not a "Prospect" before you buy it.

These Bridges are Original Heritage                                   These Bridges are Exclusive from Ed Roman

Ed,

I recently purchased a Heritage Blues Deluxe Plus from you. While there was a little mix up in getting the bridge upgrade and Seymour Duncans in it, Joanne took very good care of the situation and I now have it back. Here's what I have to say.

I am 51 years old and have played in a professional capacity, one way or another, for 40 years. I have owned and played more guitars than I can remember. I have always been able to afford very nice instruments...almost all of which cost considerably more than the Heritage Blues Deluxe Plus.

Here's what I've got to say..............

This guitar kills! The neck and action are the fastest I have ever played. The variety of tone is unmatched by any guitar I have or have played. The Duncans are the ticket for this guitar. Having played the stock pickups, the Duncans make the Vari-tone circuit worth having. With the stock pickups, it was worthless.

The workmanship/wood is easily as good as a 355 I once owned. That thing was heavy on the shoulder and was very unbalanced on the strap. This guitar is a dream. Thanks for your suggestion on this fine instrument.

Next week, several of my music buddies are showing up  and they will freak.

I'll send them your way.

Sincerely,

Mark Dahms

Just one more example of what ex Gibson Players are saying about Heritage Guitars of Kalamazoo Michigan

Ed Roman says,

If' it's not a Kalamazoo made guitar,  it's not the real thing.

Names on the headstocks today mean absolutely nothing!
