These Taylor Guitars are very pretty but they don't
sound all that good !
Ed Roman believes that Koa should be used only on the back & sides, it doesn't
sound as good as spruce or cedar for a top!!
The other downfall with Taylor Guitars is the fact that the bolt on neck
prevents the guitar from ever aging or mellowing out.
Taylor Guitars are bright and sound like a medium priced Ovation at best.
They work well live because the brightness cuts well.
Ed Roman recommends Rainsong as the absolute best bright sounding guitar made !!!!!
