nicely and it also has a full active electronics circuit.

I have been carrying this Bass for several years and I have been very impressed with the quality and value it offers. In fact, I have told many of my customers that I have nothing within twice it's price range that competes even closely with it.
This guitar was officially discontinued on 8/20/03 due to the fact that Dean was not making enough profit on it. The Bass was simply too nice for it's price range.
I had a long conversation with Dean Zelinsky and Bill Gillespie, and I tried to convince them to keep the model in the line. I suggested that the guitar be beefed up a little so that it could legitimately stand toe to toe with much higher priced basses but still keep the instrument at a super low price.
Currently I have ordered enough instruments to keep this guitar available for 2006, But I don't know if it will be available after that.
