| Earlewood Layout #1 Volume, Angled Megaswitch, and Tone. The switch, made in Germany by Schaller, gives standard Bridge or Neck pickup, plus single coil sounds. This layout requires a body thickness of 1.70" or more. |

| Earlewood Layout #2 Volume, Tone, and Megaswitch. This layout allows for a thinner body. Incidentally, the tone control is usually a master, but can be wired to exclude the neck or bridge pickup. |

Layout #3 Angled Megaswitch, Volume, and Tone. Volume is normally the knob at the far end of the switch throw. A thinner body would accomodate this layout. . |

| Earlewood Layout #4 Volume, Straight Megaswitch, and Tone. This layout requires a body thickness of 1.70" or more. |

| Earlewood Layout #5 Volume, Tone and Toggle Switch. A Push/Pull pot can be used to select single coil mode. |

| Earlewood Layout #6 3 Knobs and Toggle Switch. Choose either 2 Volume / 1 Tone or 1 Volume / 2 Tone. You can have a thinner body with this layout, also. A special capacitor can be used for the bridge pickup tone control, to give it a more throaty midrange tone. This sounds great with distortion! |

| Caldera Layout #7 Toggle Switch in Upper Bout, and 2 Volume / 2 Tone. The V/T for the bridge pickup is normally the row closest to the bridge. The upper Tone is a P/P pot to select single coil mode. A special capacitor is used for the bridge pickup tone control, giving it a throaty midrange tone like a wah pedal halfway down. |

| Earlewood PLUS Layout #8 Toggle Switch in Upper Bout selects Piezo, Magnetics or both. Magnetic Volume / Tone, Volume for Piezo are placed near the bridge. The first knob is a P/P pot to select either of two pre-set tone curves for the Piezo. |

| Earlewood PLUS Layout #9 Same as above layout, except Magnetic Volume / Tone, Volume for Piezo are placed further from the bridge. For either PLUS layout, a miniswitch may be substituted for the P/P pot to select either of two pre-set tone curves for the Piezo. |

| Earlewood PLUS Layout #10 Same as layout #8 or #9, except the pickup selector is a second toggle switch. The P/P pot can be used either to switch to single coil mode, or to select the piezo tone curves. |
