Gory Makeup

Here is a small example of J. Frog's work. In fact it's a mild and wimpy version the Blood N' Guts Gore that I saw in his portfolio.

Part of the reason that J. Frog never became as big as Wayne Charvel, Grover Jackson or Kramer Guitars is because his main gig has been doing Hollywood Special FX makeup etc etc. If Johnny had pursued guitars instead of a Hollywood career (J. Frog Guitars) would have been a household word.

Companies Like ESP and Kramer ripped off Johnny's designs and even his original Banana/Hockey Stick Headstock design, but in any case, thanks to Johnny and myself teaming up, they are available now.

Buyer Beware

ESP a Japanese company made a copy in 1999.  It was not authorized and ESP had to pay many thousands of dollars in restitution. But just because they paid restitution does not make the guitar original it is still a forgery and a fake. Johnny Frog pointed out the many very obvious differences between the ESP fake one and the Original.
