Bracing System
This unique bracing system is an actual thing of beauty. If you see it you
will immediately understand why McPherson guitars cost more than their
competition Ed Roman Guitars has been a McPherson dealer for almost 3 years. Ed Roman as usual is one of the few music dealers on the cutting edge of any new technology. |

I have seen scarcely few acoustic guitars that stand up to the McPherson, possibly Some of the very early Dana Bourgeosie & Larrivee & Tacoma V series guitars are on par with it. but I have never seen anything that would downright make it look even in the slightest way inferior. Matt McPherson is a true Innovator, Not content to follow the herd of guitar builders and stick to the traditional old ways. Matt has developed some amazing features which make his guitars stand out among the crowd. I don't believe that anyone anywhere could build a better guitar even if they had a $100.000.00 budget at their disposal. The proof is very easy to see. Just spend a few moments comparing a McPherson Rosewood Guitar to almost anyone' else's Brazilian rosewood model. The technology behind the McPherson more than makes up for the lesser costing wood. Hollowed out laminated cross bracing. This is pure eye candy to a guitar builder. |

All McPherson Guitars feature an asymmetrical sound hole that resides on the top edge of the guitar. Matt didn't do this just to make his guitars look better than most others. As usual his primary reasoning was for improvement and clarity of Tone.
By moving the sound hole "to the edge," to a very specific and crucial position on the guitar's face, McPherson has effectively increased flexible surface area on the central part of the instrument.

Cantilever Neck Joint If You look at the top of the neck joint where the fingerboard protrudes above the body you will immediately notice that the fingerboard is raised above the body. All other flat top guitars glue the fingerboard directly to the body. This patented Cantilever design is probably the single most important feature of the McPherson Guitars. This "no-touch" design allows the top to vibrate and resound to its fullest potential. |

In the three years that Ed Roman has been supplying these incredibly awesome Guitars to world famous guitar players and discerning open minded musicians there has never been one player who did not appreciate immediately the superior sound qualities and fabulous feel of the McPherson Guitar. The McPherson guitar is not cheap (Most good things aren't) and it's not for everyone. But neither is a Rolls Royce or an Aston Martin. The lucky few people who will eventually own a McPherson are to be envied because these guitars are absolutely superb. Ed Roman Bestows An 11 On A Scale Of Ten. This is a McPherson Guitar made from Macassar Ebony
It Sounds Amazing, Incredible, Fabulous Stupendous (There are not enough adjectives to describe these guitars)
Try This one on for size....
Ed Roman will guarantee that the absolute least expensive McPherson made from plain Mahogany will sound MUCH better than ANY Taylor Guitar
even if the Taylor is made from 200 year old Brazilian Rosewood.
Furthermore Ed Roman will guarantee that even an untrained ear will be able to notice the difference within 10 seconds.
The Closest thing we have to the McPherson's are The Larrivee's & The Tacoma Premium V Series (Above)
