odel that is a very close copy. I am aware personally of at least 3 people who are buying these & affixing faked Mosrite decals on them.  Again I personally don't have a problem with that. My problem is that mostly they try to pass them off as originals. Recently I actually saw one on another dealers website.

From what I have been able to gather Mosrite kept very poor records and it's impossible to document them. I have also been made aware that 80% of the original Ventures models were faked. I talked to one old Mosrite dealer who told me the factory rep actually supplied the dealer with the "Ventures" decals so that the dealer could affix them in his store. So that old Ventures model in your closet might not even be real. Some dealers put a clear coat over the decal but a lot of them didn't. (There is really only one way to know for sure if it's real)

Currently we here at Mosrite do not officially sell parts because of all the people who are doing the fake build-ups.   I will require proof of originality on any parts sale and the old broken part must be returned to me for approval before we can ship the replacement part.   Parts are scarce as hens teeth so don't hold your breath !!!
