 Veillette Guitars is proud to introduce THE ACOUSTIC 12 fully acoustic guitars (at last). The ACOUSTIC 12 is available in standard and baritone versions.

The Standard-tuned guitar's shorter 24.1" scale allows perfect tension, with amazing playability and perfect intonation all the way up the neck, even with heavy strings tuned to standard pitch. No more tuning down to capo up: This is the easiest playing acoustic 12-string guitar ever! The Baritone version features a slightly larger body and 26.1" scale for full, clean low end and easy, comfortable action.

Both guitars feature a one-piece 22-fret mahogany neck that is attached to the body at the 14th fret with a unique neck joint arrangement that provides remarkable stability using only a single machine bolt. THE ACOUSTIC 12s incorporate an asymmetrical body shape with a cutaway for unhindered upper-fret access, and dual offset sound holes, which maximize structural integrity, and allow for the maximum amount of continuous vibrating surface.

THE ACOUSTIC 12s come standard with mahogany back and sides, Sitka spruce top, and Indian Rosewood bridge, fingerboard, and binding. Maple or rosewood backs and sides are available by special order. The guitar comes with a satin polyurethane finish. Traditional lacquer is also available as an option. Each instrument ships with a custom Veillette gig bag.

Each Veillette guitar is individually hand-crafted, The guitar is available with the Alvarez System 500A transducer/preamp, with controls for volume and 3-band semi-parametric equalization.

Veillette Bolt-on Singlecut

The Bolt-on Singlecut Bass

The best of both worlds: At last, the tone and punch of a bolt-on with the balance and sonic power of the modern single cutaway bass. The new design is a collaboration between Woodstock, NY luthiers Joe Veillette and Martin Keith. The innovative asymmetrical neck joint arrangement uses three steel machine bolts with metal threads inside the neck, for a rock-solid connection and unprecedented upper fret access.

The Bolt-on Singlecut comes standard with a graphite-reinforced 35" scale maple neck with wenge fingerboard. The body is poplar, with optional figured top, 2 Citron soapbars, 2-band active EQ and the new fully-adjustable wood/brass bridge. The instrument ships with a custom Veillette gig bag.

The bass is available with Bartolini pickups, and is available in all popular scale lengths, in 4, 5, and 6-string configurations, fretted or fretless.

MK IV Bass Magnetic Pickup Options

Veillette Guitars is now offering an optional bridge-position magnetic pickup on all MKIV basses. The pickup position is calculated to deliver a tight, modern sound which works great alone, and also blends beautifully with the piezo saddle transducer for new and unique acoustic/electric tones.

Customers can choose from pickups by Basslines, EMG, and Bartolini.

The Mk IV Gryphon High-Tuned Unison 12-String

Veillette Guitars introduces the Mark IV Gryphon, High-Tuned Unison 12-String. The Gryphon is a sweet little hybrid instrument that plays like a guitar and sounds like a mandolin. Pitched almost an octave above standard, (tuned to open D) with 6 pairs of unison strings, this short-scale (18.5 inches, 21 frets) guitar-olin is easy to play and really fun. With the upper range of a mandolin and extended lower range of a mandola, yet tuned and fingered like a guitar with comfortably spaced frets, the diminutive Gryphon packs a mighty punch. It's a 12-string guitar, it's a mandolin, it's the Gryphon!
